1. What is the price of admission for the Rodeo and Dance?
$12 for adults, $6 for ages 6-12, and five and under are free. Gate admission covers rodeo, dance, and parking. Food cost is an additional charge.
2. When should I get there?
On Saturdays during rodeo season, the gates open at 5:00PM and the rodeo starts at 7:30PM. Parking is free, and we do not sell out, but if you are planning to have dinner before the rodeo, a good time to arrive is around 5:00PM-6:00PM . If you are planning dinner inside the steakhouse, make sure that you have reservations no later than 6:00PM in order to make it out on time for the rodeo.

3. Is there food available if I am not dining at the Steakhouse?
Yes! Outdoor dining is offered (walk up, first come first serve) by our Smokehouse, where you can get made to order burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, and BBQ plates. We also now offer our Mercado area, where you can buy snacks like KC Steak on a Stick, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones and fresh squeezed lemonade.
4. Will the rodeo still go on in inclement weather?
Yes, rodeo events will go on whether rain or shine. We have a covered arena, covered dance floor, and covered bleachers. We pride ourselves in our dedication to producing this one of a kind event, and in nine years have never canceled a rodeo!
4. What is the order of events for the rodeo performance?

5. What are the order of events for the slack (after the rodeo)?

6. What to expect as a spectator?
A true Texas experience. Namely, an action packed rodeo performance followed by live music and dancing. Expect a family friendly atmosphere with TONS of activities for everyone.
7. What to expect as a contestant?
Please see detailed information for contestants here. Please be courteous to other contestants and our spectators, and our staff members by calling in at the appropriate time, arriving on time for your event, paying up by 7:00PM, adhering to proper dress code, and letting us know if you are unable to attend after already signing up. Expect plenty of room to park trailers and large vehicles- contestants are generally able to park and stay overnight if need be.
Reminder: Call in is on Wednesdays from 7-9 at (830) 980-2226. We do accept walk ups but there is a $10 fee. All contestants must be paid up by 7:00PM, NO exceptions!
8. Are dogs allowed?
Yes. We are a dog friendly venue, but we ask that you keep your furry friends on a leash AT ALL TIMES. Repeat violators will be asked to leave.
Tejas Rodeo Company now offers mixed drinks, margaritas, and a full bar.
